The Army has launched a crackdown on the drug spice at at least nine commands in response to a spike in usage among soldiers.

With names such as Spice, K2 and Genie, the small foil packets of incense sold at convenience stores and tobacco shops seem innocuous. But because of a family of synthetic additives, the herbal mixture mimics a marijuana high when smoked....

Poison control centers in 48 states have received over 1,000 phone calls this year concerning adverse effects from synthetic marijuana or fake pot products, says a national report released last week.

Authorities, drug experts worry the new generation weed products could be dangerous Incense and herbal smoking blends that mimic the high of marijuana are popping up in mom-and-pop convenience stores throughout Central Florida.

A bill that would outlaw K2 and other varieties of so-called synthetic marijuana in Pennsylvania was overwhelmingly approved in the state House on Tuesday by a vote of 198-1.

Hello World!

Crunking the Crunk is a blog about what I call Crunk- and by crunk I mean the JWH series synthetic cannabinoids.  We'll be looking at all the different kinds of Crunk out there, novel ways of doing the crunk, or as I like to call it, crunking the crunk.  We'll look at news items about JWH 018 bans that are taking effect across the country, documents outlining the synthesis of JWH 073, and recipes for making your very own JWH incense blends.
